I’m currently in the middle of my TMS treatments and just noticed or realized that my PTSD is coming back and I’m more depressed now than I was when I first started. I’m taking Prozac for the past four years and a big side effect is that it makes me numb like I’m just walking through life like a zombie no emotion reactions. It’s a horrible experience. I know these treatments affect everyone differently. I want to know if anyone has had this type of effect from these treatments. I’m considering stopping the treatments because I don’t want to relive the PTSD. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve done 2 courses of TMS, but mine were for depression, so not the same as yours, even though I also suffer with migraines. My migraines are controlled by Botox injections every 3 months. My experience with TMS did not reactivate my PTSD, but did help the depression.

I tried TMS. It didn’t work for me. I’ve had lifelong major clinical depression and PTSD. I went through a series of treatments and then just stopped. They tried to convince me that it was working but it. Just wasn’t.
Good luck. Hang in there.
