My husband has been on Skyrizi--after the 5-6th injection he began to lose weight rapidly and also lost cognition.
Weight loss stabilized after about 7 weeks, but after the next Skyrizi dose (every 8 weeks) weight loss intensified and has not stopped.
Cognitively he has continued to decline very rapidly as well.
Dr's say Skyrizi is not to blame, but can't find anything else to blame either. Held one Skyrizi dose to see if anything improved, but neither weight loss nor cognition improved.They want to put him back on Skyrizi to help with Crohns inflammation, etc--I am still skeptical however.
My advice is to be very aware of any strange side effects and report them to both your MD and top AbbeVie (Skyrizi manufacturer) immediately. These are very new drugs and have not been in use long enough to get good info about longer-term side effects.

I am so sorry to hear this! I have not taken Skyrizi but I have taken
Entyvio and Remicade. I noticed Aches and pains, sometimes debilitating pain,and severe brain fog. I am so thankful That I’m off both. These are powerful drugs, and although they help some people, they are poison to others. My best to you!
