I’m not sure if they actually didn’t do a sensitivity test. Generally if your specimen is positive for a bacteria they will do a sensitivity test. It took months for mine to come back and the bacteria was resistant to rifampin. I had a bad reaction to rifabutin and am now on Arikase nebs daily in addition to the other two meds. Failed treatment allowed for my insurance to cover the Arikase. I would ask your pulmonologist again about the sensitivity. Good luck.
