Be sure to monitor BP also. I had similar experiences while undergoing chemotherapy. I was blacking out because my blood pressure was dropping too low. Doc gave me some medicine to counteract that.

I had a similar experience. After my third chemo treatment, I woke up the next morning with BP in the 80s over 40s. In addition, my torso was flushed and I had a fever. In my case, I have alpha gal syndrome, allergy to mammal products from tick bites. After each treatment, they were "locking" the port, keeping it open, with 3 ml of heparin, which is made from pig intestines. I ended up in their hospital for three days. Whether it was the heparin or the drugs, we made a joint decision to discontinue, since the chemo was just an adjuvant (helper) to the proton therapy. This was at MD Anderson.
