Yes, I took 4-6 regular adult aspirin per day for years if not decades and suddenly BOOM my stomach protested mightily!
I’ve had 2 back and 1 neck surgeries, have spinal stenosis, listhesis (sp?), and OA in several other places.
As I told my doctor once, it’s very silly for me to take narcotics when I sometimes feel strong NSAIDs would help also (because of the anti-inflammatory properties). 😢

I’m a recovering addict so pain killers make me nervous. A woman in a meeting one time said “I can become addicted to a glass of water”.
We now our limits and we need to continue to speak out, even when our doctors don’t agree.
