I recall my hesitation about having the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve clipped; however, I have been overall delighted with the pain control achieved since having the surgery done. My doctor went in through my appendectomy scar, and my recovery time was minimal. I would highly recommend that anyone considering surgery locate a doctor who is specifically trained in the procedure. Hopefully, this information will help.
