Unfortunately this is a five year ordeal for me and nothing works. I was drinking too much water and was diagnosed with hyponatremia, who would have thought.
Now Gastro cut me to 32 ounces per day, at most. Fiber binds me even more. My diet is extremely limited. No dairy, no gluten and no sugar. I get about a quarter cup of mashed fresh carrots a day and that is about all I can handle for fiber. Carbs are another issue. I blend a lot.
Thanks for the advice but I’ve tried everything. Beware of MiraLAX because for whatever reason it’s what most doctors prescribe. I don’t get why.
It has PEG and the safety of it daily. They say it’s fine short term but no studies done long term. It concerns me.

I see you have said that Sucralose is a gut bacteria no-no. I take Metamucil, 1 T in 8-10 oz of water twice daily. It has Sucrose in it. Is this the same thing?

I have been on trial de now for three months. I a take it at night . It has been very effective, but I have extreme bloating and gas. Any advice how to deal with the negative side effects?
