Thank you for your reply. It’s good to know you did not suffer many of the side effects that go with the chemo. In anticipation of hair loss, I’m considering getting mine chopped so that effect won’t be as dramatic. I appreciate the tips on mouth rinsing and foot care. I’ll stock up now on baking soda. Chemo most likely will be followed by radiation but I’m not sure. I read that targeted treatment is not effective for USC —there’s so much info out there and I’m careful now what I read in the Web.
