Thank you for the comments. I've had a Foley cath in for a while before i got the diagnosis. I appreciate it's advantages. If i had to have a Foley permanently, i could not do my crucial main exercise which is swimming.
If i had the Aqua procedure I'm need a Foley for a while. What i'm trying to get info about is the incidence of people becoming incontinent as a side effect and then needing a Foley permanently.

You just don’t hear about people becoming completely incontinent and having to put in a catheter all the time. I do know a couple of cases, People that are in the Ancan.org Advanced post cancer weekly meetings occasionally, but it is unusual.

There are a few solutions, but for somebody who has really bad incontinence, you could just put in the artificially Urinary sphincter And pretty much have full control. If you have not had radiation then ProACT is an easier solution.

These days people don’t have to go much more than a week with the catheter in after having various types of Pros, cancer treatments, including surgery. Well, many people have a little bit of incontinence. Most people become continent within a year..
