Hi everyone I'm new to this forum but am appreciating your information. I've had 2 revisions the last one being a hinge. I've now learned this one , just over a year old is loosening. I'm less than thrilled. I fear I'm looking at a Arthrodesis as my stems are so large. I have my appointment next week on my birthday, 72 thanks, reading all this info is helpful. You are all extremely strong people. I hope they can come up with a new way to inject crazy glue and that expanding foam! Trying to keep my sense of humor but I really appreciate all this info. No infection this time so I'm so grateful for that.

You’re very fortunate not to have an infection, but I know how painful it can be just to have a loose part. I’m wondering if the part can be tightened without taking out the device. Maybe they won’t know until they have opened it up. I’ve had good luck with the hinge knee device, just the problem of the infection.
I’m assuming you read the post by the person who had the orthodesis. You want to do as much research as possible before having any procedure done.
