Decreasing Prednisone

I have decreased my prednisone dose from 10mg 1 1/2 ago to 2mg now. My rheumatologist suggested I try 1.5 mg. I have been having symptoms since starting the 1.5mg, not sure if I should persevere or go back to 2 mg.

Below 5, I tapered successfully with minimal drama at 0.5 per month.
You might be going too fast, unless there are other medical considerations.
You can expect some random pains no matter what you do. Those may or may not be PMR.
