@kaybollinger79,

I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a bad time with Reclast. As I've reported in prior posts, I have had multiple infusions since c. 2011. After a partial course of Tymlos and a full one of Evenity, I had another Reclast infusion in July 2024. My numbers improved dramatically after Tymlos/Evenity, so I'm curious as to whether the Reclast has done its job as it had in the past. I have a DEXA scheduled for early 2026, and I hate the wait!

In July 2024, I met with a new rheumatologist who agreed to prescribe Reclast, with a possible second dose, after I meet with him next month; the alternative was Prolia :(. During my visit, my doc told me that the problem with (too many) Reclast infusions was the risk of spontaneous femur fracture. Worrisome, however, some of the other meds carry the same risk/warning. I don't know if the doc will go for additional labs or wait and see in January.

Good health to all! Cheers!

Did your doctor mention what number was "(too many) Reclast infusions causing the risk of spontaneous femur fracture"?
