I'm sorry to hear that. Especially since my doc has me taking Lisinopril while recovering from stroke a month ago, and my BP has been extremely high. Taking 20mg.
Plus half a 25mg Metoprolol tablet. BP coming down slowly, but still high.
Anyone else have experience with these? Trying to prevent another stroke...

After my stroke, my whole system was a mess for at least a year.
Blood pressure, blood sugar, digestion, emotions, you name it -- everything was out of whack.
Slowly I got back to "normal" -- or more accurately, a new sorta-normal.
I have this in episodes of my YouTube channel:

@grrranny I had multiple strokes 2 years ago from nocturnal high BP do to sleep apnea. Lisinopril/Amlodipine combo has my BP 105/64 average all night but I'm tired and weak. Stairs have my legs burning and puffing. I didn't have it before the meds

@grrranny
People with low renin levels taking Lisinopril can experience a rise in blood pressure. This happened to me, the higher the dose the higher my blood pressure went. Maybe you should be tested.
