I am relieved to see some positive comments about Reclast. I took Alendronate for 5 years with only minor issues the day of (which lasted literally a few seconds and was gone). I have been on a drug holiday for 1.5 years, during which my numbers have tanked. Forteo is out because I had a terrible reaction to it years ago. Prolia is out as well, as family members who took it reacted poorly. So the endocrinologist has recommended Reclast because I did well on the Alendronate. Reading some of the side effects experienced on any of the osteoporosis drugs is enough to send you to an asylum! Thank you to those who have shared a positive experience. I feel better about beginning Reclast after reading these posts.

I also had a good Reclast experience. My (so far) only infusion was after a year on Evenity. I had good gains from Evenity and the Reclast was to lock that in.
I never had a side effect from either drug.
Wow, that's wonderful! I am still waiting on approval for Reclast. I had two infusion centers that left me hanging (I don't think they actually wanted to do the infusion), resulting in a loss of 3 months. Now I am on my third center and have lost several weeks with them because they said my labs had expired (they had the wrong doctor's office), but they never called to let me know. Their excuse was that they couldn't possibly contact every infusion patient about paperwork. Really??? My endocrinologist and I are very frustrated. I am praying that this center gets me approved, so I can get the infusion done. My doctor told me that they're having a very difficult time finding "good" infusion centers in the area who are willing to do the osteoporosis drugs. Fingers crossed!

I had no adverse side effects at all!!
How about evenity? I had no noticeable side effects and my results were great.
