It might be worth trying to get at least a phone consultation to see if he thinks there is anything more he or someone he recommends can do for you.

There is a Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida. I don’t know how far this is for you. On their website they say they have hand surgeons but I can’t personally attest to their quality
