I have chronic pain and a handful of conditions. I get frequent headaches and one of the neurologist I saw said that the Suboxone I am on for chronic pain and the ibuprofen I take is causing me "rebound headaches" and that I need to get off the Suboxone for her to prescribe any medication that would help the chronic migraines. She did refer me to a pain clinic. I get trigger pt injections in my neck back and butt along with Botox for migraines. I have tried to get off the Suboxone but my psoratic arthritis, osteoarthritis in my knees, chronic neck and back pain along with TMJ gets too painful. I have had stomach pains ( usually stabbing pain in abdomen under left side under ribs) for years. Ibuprofen caused gastritis. Only thing that helped with stomach pain was increasing my Zoloft to 100mg after all the tests came back clear for my stomach problems Also miralax twice a day every day helped too.
Hopefully that helped some. You sound like a good friend and she's lucky to have you and your support!

How does suboxone make you feel. I’m concerned about being drowsy from it? Have you ever taken OxyCodone?
If so how do they compare with pain control?
