Oxycodone
Hi ! Has anyone stopped taking Oxycodone 15mg (I stopped 2 years ago). Then take it when the pain is intense ? I haven't taken it for months and I am worried about an unintentional overdose.

That is a decent dose, I take 5mg when required and if needed I take one more. Maybe get a prescription for the lower dose. There shouldn't be any risk at 15mg but might be overkill with your tolerance level.

2 ReactionsI don't care to take oxycodone unless I have surgery. When I was working about 8 years ago. I'd take it at night so I could sleep otherwise I couldn't get relief from the pain. And then it would end up an er visit for a shot of toradol. Now Only occasionally but for me 10 mg followed by Tylenol for arthritis tends to work if I do it right away. If I let the pain linger it takes longer, a few doses, and a day missed doing life.
I've taken 5 Mg of Oxycodone for 7 years now because of extreme headaches they think are caused by contracting Lyme Disease!
At one point stopped the Oxy and switched to Hydrocodone! My headaches came back!
Lyme is very Mysterious! If you put 30 people together with Lyme you'd have 30 different symptoms!
I get tired of all the Hype about Oxy! If you've ever suffered from continuous pain for 24/7 you would understand! The Oxy helps me live a somewhat decent life!
If you can't manage your medication you need psychological help!
It doesn't take much effort to understand what can happen to you if you misuse it!
