Peripheral Neuropathy Twitching?

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with PN. I am experiencing twitching that started in my thigh and has expanded to include upper and lower body including my face. I have had an EMG/NC and was told it is not ALS but the twitching continues to cause anxiety. Anyone else experience similar challenge? I am a 61 yr old male.

I have small fiber peripheral neuropathy and was recenty awakened in the middle of the night, once when my entire body twitched, and last night, my left leg twitched twice. Can this be associated with SFPN? Thanks.
