I am always so happy when people don’t have side effects. One thing I’ve learned during this long (35 years of doctors pushing the drugs on me, scaring me and not believing my side effects) terrible cholesterol journey it’s that some people have no side effects, some mild side effects and some debilitating side effects. I honestly felt it would kill me pretty quickly. I still can’t understand why the doctors don’t get that. When I first started statins I didn’t expect any side effects. But, there they were with every single cholesterol drug took. I’m done.

I was told by doctors that I must take statins. They prescribed 10mg/day and this created terrible side effects. I reduced it 10 mg on alternate days but this too created side effects. So I reduced it to 10 mg once every 2 days. This reduced side effects substantially. Also when I did s blood test after a couple of months the LDL was within the target limit. I am continuing with this regimen as of now.
