Has anyone had surgery for a hiatal hernia?

Hi, @msturcken - how unfortunate you have to have the hiatal hernia surgery all over again after only three months.

Did your gastroenterologist explain how strangulation might occur if you didn't have a redo of the hernia surgery? Did he or she indicate in what timeframe they'd recommend you have this additional surgery?

I see the surgeon in two months and think she will schedule the surgery then. I just want to get it over with. Recovery took about 3 weeks . No he didn’t explain strangulation but I don’t want it. You can die from it
