They are wanting to do a Heller Myotomy with a Nissan as well but if the fundoplication is to tight then you just went through a worthless procedure.
Fun fact, not sure if it's a good or bad thing but I'm a retired GI nurse and witnessed complications with both the Heller and the Myotomy.
No easy answer 🤷‍♀️
However I am curious as to what medicine you referred to.
Constipation is not a problem for me, along with this issue I have EPI, yes post Covid, so I truly wouldn't know what to do if I had a solid BM, lol

Before I had the myotomy and Nissen my gastroenterologist suggested Botox injections and calcium channel blockers to help with esophageal dysmobility. Nortryptiline is supposed to help and peppermint oil, but both cause other g.i. issues for me.
