I was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis a year ago this month. I ‘ve had my 11th injections two weeks ago. I have always received them in my arm. Yes it’s a painful injection but for me, it doesn’t last but a few seconds. I always have a lump the first two days. By the 12-14 day after the injections I have really bad joint pain for about 24 hours. My Dexa scores were in the high 3’s, my hounsfield score was 45, but with in 5mos being on Evenity my houndfield score was 80. My physician believe’s with Evenity he can get me to Ostopenia. I will get another Dexa Scan 4/3 and my last injection on 4/12.
