Yes, because I use Symbicort, my mouth, throat and vocal chords are checked for thrush at every pulmo appt, as well as by my primary and my dentist. The only time I had it from Symbicort was when I left my spacer home while on a trip. I hope to not do that again!

I want your dentist! I never heard of a dentist checking for thrush. Sounds like it's not thrush. It's hard losing voice. I lost my voice while I was on Arikayce, but fortunately stopped taking after 3 weeks. The speech therapist at NJH told me the thrush grows on the larynx with Arikayce. Not sure how they would test for that. Fortunately, my voice came back but it took about over 3 weeks.
