Rest assured @missey and @llynch17056, I have new doctors!

@repathaconcerns, no I did not fill the prescription.
The core of my treatment now is inclisiran (Leqvio). I think I have had 5 injections, so far so good. My understanding is while still directed at PCSK9, it works earlier in the process when the protein is created. Repatha and Praluent bind to the protein in the liver and prevent it from binding to LDL receptors.

Thanks again for the reply. I still haven’t decided what to do next.
I actually was doing some research on Leqvio just yesterday. So glad to hear it’s working for you. I was concerned about taking it because the side effect profile includes leg and joint pain and I believe that’s the 6 month injection, correct? Were you scared to take a 6 month injection? My concern is that if it gives me pain, it would last for over 6 months. What was your experience with it and feelings about it?
