Yes ! You are not alone. I experienced the same pains in my joints and hands that you describe. The only explanation I get from my endocrinologist is that I have to "wade it out" and it will become less intense. Little comfort for those of us who are experiencing the pain.

The good news for those taking Reclast for the first time and having issues, is that the occurrence of issues on the second and subsequent infusions drops dramatically. Here is a snapshot from Dr. John Bilezikian on the subject. One other note, you might talk to your doctor about spreading out infusions longer than once a year. New trials showing effectiveness for 5 or even 10 years depending on your goals for treatment.
