What I have found from the chat room, other PMR people, and my own Dr is that YOU need to be in control of the prednisone. They cannot order something and have you stick to it. Yes, I guess they could but your body is the one calling the shots! True, you want to be off of it (prednisone) but you also need the benefit of it. A Catch 22, as they say. My Dr does not want me to move backwards (have a flare) but wants me off ASAP, of course.
