unable to empty my bladder after 7-8 trips to the bathroom per day.

I'm up 3-4 times a night and 7-8 times during the day. My Dr doesn't seem to be very concerned although he did a TURP procedure a year ago and after that I need to wear incontence pads during the day and night. Now I am unable to empty my bladder. I'm 80 yeaers old and that may play a part in the type of treatment I receive.

just do what my dr told me catheter inmorning and before going to bed more oftem if needed

Leo, sounds very distressing - especially after a TURP. Have you considered a second opinion with a cystoscopy?
You really need another pair of eyes to assess your condition. You should not be in this state after a TURP.

I agree with Phil that a cystoscopy and second opinion are a good idea, preferably from a urologist in a high-volume practice.
