How many autoimmune diseases can you have?

The propensity to have autoimmune diseases is genetic. There are other types but the main cause of Type 1 diabetes is autoimmune. If you were born without enough insulin-producing cells that would be simply genetic.

Did you become wheat intolerant?

No but I eat Ezekiel bread in the frozen section. I am highly allergic to walnuts, pasta increases my pain. I am not diabetic. All my problems with my disability is autoimmune that’s why I was on IVIG from age 10-18 to build up my immunity. Otherwise, I stayed in the hospital with pneumonia from having severe asthma attacks.
