Zale,
Thank YOU for reminding me. I think that if someone see a person a certain, the the responsibility to be that is very important. I have learned from other people, that no matter how I feel,,I always have a smile on my face, an when I cannot, I try not to be around anyone. I am enjoy this chat forum or whatever it is called. I have looked for something like this for a long time. There are not many places you can share your life with. I am expecting this one will be. Thank you EVERYONE for offering you compassion, suggestions, advice and stories of your journeys. KEEP ON TALKING!
PEACE AND LOVE...JJ

Hi Justin,
I think I understand what you were saying earlier about weighing in.
My experiences with injections are mixed. While they were the only thing I was aware of, it was so wonderful to have that. Then when I moved and had to find another Pain Dr. I was fortunate enough to find one that had different ideas on treatment for my
condition. He did a couple of injections, then changed medications and the very first injection was amazing. I walked out of the procedure with no pain and did not have to have another injection for a little over 9 months. I do not remember what he changed.
Then he said that I was a perfect candidate for a spine stimulator. I researched it and after many painful sleepless days and nights I decided to have the stimulator implanted. I went thru a 2 week trial first to see if I would benefit from it, and it was
wonderful I was sent to an neurosurgeon to have it implanted. I was so thrilled about how it worked and was told by the neurosurgeon that it would get even better. It has. I no longer have the pain in my right hip and leg. It was crippling before the implant,
and now it is almost non-existent. Now I have stenosis above that area the stimulator helps, and I have bone spurs going into my spine again, so surgery is something I will have to consider. Thanks to "Maria's" message to me, she has experienced good results
from fusion in her back and knows of others that have had good results. I have been told that the spine stimulator will need to stay for other issues, fine with me. I feel like pretty soon I will be bionitic because of all the implants. he he
Any info I can offer, of course I will. I try not to be too needy or talk too much. So I tend not to be on this site all the time.

PEACE AND LOVE...JJ

Good for you! Wish I had be candidate for stimulator. Spine is too curved to get leads in.
