Where to have REMS scan
Has anyone had a REMS scan at the USF Health Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Tampa? I am trying to find a place that has these scans close to Tallahassee, Florida . DEXA shows severe osteoporosis in spine, femoral neck and left hip (didn't scan the right). Reading different studies cause me to question the complete picture given by a DEXA.

I finally found a place relatively close to me, but not really wanting to go there I inquired about their mobile service where they come to you and found they do that for a higher price, but ironically they told me they were holding a pop up event at Osteo Strong in the city I live in! Yay! They are out of Mobile, AL. The pop up in Foley. Supposed to be having one in Orange Beach too.
So, look into that possibility. There might be a similar situation near you.
I live in fort Myers Florida and have pop up events at Osteostrong for REMS scan. So I’m thinking you could check with an Osteostrong near you. Good luck
Thank you, I checked and they don't seem to be near me yet, also didn't see on the site mention of REMS.
Thank you, I will keep a look out.

There is one located at the OsteoStrong location in Pensacola, FL. That's at least closer than Tampa. The website for it is https://www.nwfbonescan.com/ I had one done there and I was pleased with the facility and the process.
Thank you
Thank you!
Thank you and better traffic!
I have had 3 REMS tests in Naples FL. It is called screenmybones. I do not recommend going there. They don't seem to know much, and were not able to compare scan results. I had to figure out myself what my results meant and what changes were significant. Also, I don't know if I can even trust the REMS results, as they were so different from my DEXA results.
