ileostomy blockage
i've had 3 ileostomy blockages due to kinked bowel because of scar tissue, anyone else experiencing this, and does anyone have any solutions on how to live with this

What alerts you to the blockage, pain? Reduced material to the ostomy bag?

i think it was a whole mango, then ate cheerios. it was awful, in the hospital with a tube down to my stomach for 3 days, but unblocked on its own, now i am very nervous about it happening again, anybody out there feeling the same away?

1 ReactionMy husband cuts everything he eats very small and then chews it very well. He also drinks water with the meals. He has cut out any food that he feels does not digest well. A lot of adjustments because the body has less to digest with.
