It clearly worked very well for you. But the jury is still out on how consistent it is between different cancer types and between different people's tumors of the same cancer type. Some tumors shed more DNA than others.

I had a different ctDNA test done at a time when I had several sizable tumors detectable by CT scan. It didn't detect my cancer at all.

1. Interesting to know that Signatera was covered by Medicare as I had been told otherwise.
2. I believe that Memorial Sloan Kettering uses blood biopsies regularly.
3. Many oncologists are not on board because they “don’t know what do with the information” or don’t have the data to back it up.
As somebody else mentioned, every cancer is different, so are the results even significant?
4. Which is not to say that I wouldn’t like to add it to my monitoring plan!
