Fatigue after spinal fractures

I had bc in 2021. In 2023 I had a PAINFUL compression fracture at T11-12. After 8 Softwave treatments and chiropractic adjustments, the severe pain was gone. That was at Tungate’s office in Tempe. After a few more treatments a “fatigue acheyness” was also gone.

Now I go to an office closer to home for treatment: Active Spine and Sport. In 2025 my back started bothering me after I fell twice. My back is doing well again. I didn’t fracture anything in my back—just broke my arm in two places! I’ll be doing PT for my arm.

Be well! Wishing you much happiness. I love to quilt, cook, and play the piano. That’s my happy place. ❤️💕❤️🙏🙏🙏

Hi Sharon,
Thank you for your reply. It's good that you found relief for your compression fracture! It sure makes a difference when you have good care and a good PT! I live in west Michigan and we have a great pt office here, Mary Free Bed, that specializes in spine issues. I am so thankful that my pcp sent me to a great PT there.
I am sorry to hear about the bc and your broken arm. I broke my arm in 2022, after a fall in my home when I tripped on something. That was 8 months before my bc diagnosis. I broken a wrist 4 years prior to that .
I wanted to mention to you that I had undiagnosed hyperparathyroids for years it turns out, ( those can cause so many issues) even tho I had a yearly visit with my internist and I saw a kidney Dr once a year for kidney stones. I did know I had osteoporosis, that along with a broken bone and kidney stones are hallmarks of hyperparathroids disease. I just wanted to mention that to you in case you have not had your blood calcium checked with a blood test. If blood calcium is high, that is a definite sign of hyperparathyroids. Your Dr. probably has checked you already for it , but if not, I wanted to mention it. I wish someone had told me about it years ago! Finally my high blood calcium and high PTH was discovered and I had surgery to remove the problem parathyroids. Since you have had a spinal compression fracture and a broken arm I just wanted to mention it to you as I don't want others to go through what I did! I like your happy places by the way! 😍
