@mikala: Shoe inserts really can help foot, leg, and even back pain. However, Before you put out the $cash for Good Feet, try $27 arch supports through Walmart! Walk-Fit is a firm plastic with adjustable instep inserts. I used the “standard insert” and it worked so well to solve my sciatica back pain that I convinced my stubborn (Missouri born) husband to get them for his painful knee & hip pain. It has worked for us & hope others will find relief and even be proactive of all skeletal pain. If walk-Fit isn’t available in store, order thru Walmart’s online shopping site (men’s & women’s sizes available).
I never was tempted to spend the hundreds of $ when I got relief from the much cheaper version of arch supports.
