Other countries offer higher dose patches. I would like to see the United States do the same. Buprenorphine is an extremely safe pain medicine.

Patients experience withdrawals from buprenorphine. Buprenorphine can cause respiratory depression and lower blood pressure alone and with particular medications and with alcohol. I appreciate your viewpoint on the higher doses but I would not say buprenorphine is extremely safe pain medication.
