My ADT Story, Feedback Appreciated

Prostate removal surgery in January 2022. Began Orgovyx ADT in Jan 2023 and radiation in May 2023. PSA has been < 0.01 undetectible since the radiation.

I have sore joints, sore muscles, overall weakness and tiredness, and occasional hot flashes at night during sleep. Is all that related to ADT? I don't know. But seems to me this is tolerable and much better than having my cancer come back (PSA start to increase).

This is very confusing. My drs want me to come off the ADT. I can't understand why.

Maybe to see if you are cured. It's possible. And that would be the only way. You could take a 6 month holiday and see if your PSA rises and if it doesn't do the happy dance while doing 6 month blood work. If it does rise, you will at least know what you will be taking. Long term ADT has its own problems. Personally I would go off of it and see what happens. I'll tell you what. I will finish my 6 months of Orgovyx July 13 and would join you on the journey for 6 months to see where we are. I was BCR after 2 years and did 25 sessions of salvage radiation earlier this year. Fear can be a powerful driver. I get it. Faith in the God that got me this far in spite of my best efforts to sabotage it earlier in life is meaningful to me.
