The treatment that finally got my episode of CDiff under control was Vancomycin. I think an 18 day period in which the dosage moved up and then tapered off . No one seems to tell sufferers about the great effect of diet has on C Diff. If you “feed” the bacteria , it is an uphill battle. It feeds on fructose and altered sugars . I have not eaten a peach in 12 years. All the fruit is full of it . Tomatoes , carrots . Any food that is high in fructose. ( sugars). That’s how I avoid attacks . I also will not take antibiotics unless the dosage is matched with vancomycin at the same dosage. I’ve not tried that yet . I am told it works . Blessings Crystalena
