Hi pacathy- So far I consider the Eczema flare up mild. The itching lasted a good few days and all has subsided I am happy to say. Just waiting on the red rash to fully go away.
All this just made me think about a few things...like my three bouts with shingles which were mild, my mild case of Covid, and now this first flare up of Eczema and my low load of MAI with the Bronchiectasis.
Hoping I can keep my immune system strong enough to be able to say in the future....all mild cases.
For me putting the weight back on has been a challenge. I am stable but at about 98lbs at 5' 4"and a 1/4" tall, that is not enough. Without the cake and ice cream type of treats it is hard to get the BMI up there.
Hope your day goes well.
Barbara

@blm1007blm1007, Hi Barbara, I was able to gain 20 lbs in 18 months by adding some gluten free ramen pasta (from Costco) to my dinner, adding a big slice of clafoutis (no sugar, just one small spoon of honey) with blueberries or pears for breakfast and feeding myself another big slice of clafoutis right after my workout. All my meals are homecook, and are rather healthy (green veggies, sweet potato, protein, avocado). It seems it is hard for me to go above lbs 120.00. My pulmo would like me to add more weight, I told him that will have to do it: I am the biggest I have ever been and my stomach can't stretch any further. He seemed surprised but resigned himself.
Best wishes of great health to all of us!
