Hi Kenneth..
So sorry your going through this nightmare. I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions. I know myself something is wrong in my bowel/anal area. I had a colonoscopy 8 months ago and said mild diverticulosis. Would you mind telling me what some of your first symptoms were? I've had chronic constipation for a year. Not even half a box of ex-lax helps! I've done the increase water and fiber thing to death and stopped eating dairy. I've basically done it all. Drs say I'm just getting older and things slow down. I'm 60 and active. No bleeding but constant insane itching despite over the top cleanliness habits and skin tags . 1 inflamed small inflamed lymph node in my groin so far. Anything you could share would be great. Thanks Kenneth!

Hi Yvonne,
The only sign l had was loose bowels nothing major just thought it was something l ate. Working in the garden had to rush to toilet stood up pan full of blood water made it look worse called for ambulance had all the normal tests in a&e.
Suspected lump in anus this was during start of covid they found a bed had mri scan next day confirmed tumor within two weeks had colonoscopy result anus cancer stage2/3 you know the rest. I would suggest to have a mri scan or ct imaging scan to put your mind at ease. I found nobody knows better than yourself when it comes to your body. My two yearly stoll test showed nothing prior to my diagnosis. I'm non smoker/drinker since 2010 vasculitus diagnosed spent two month's in hospital fighting for my life kidneys shutting down had dialysis for 2 month's been clear now 15 years. I wish you the very best in your fight insist on a scan don't take no for an answer.
God bless Kenneth x
