I cough in the mornings (like a lot of people but DEEP cough in the evenings when lying down in bed. I live in a complex - so my neighbors have to deal with it. I take a Mucus OTC medication... sometimes it helps. I do cough up M & P after I take medications in the morning which have nothing to do with COPD. I feel I can breathe once I do.
