Crowlee - I have the same symptoms as you. For me, COVID blessed me with a whole set of food allergies - one of which will make my eyes swell. I did the elimination diet for two months and found allergies to dairy, blue-mold cheeses, such as Stilton, Roquefort and Gorgonzola, gluten, nightshade vegetables, sugar, cream and corn.

I had heat intolerance for about three years Post COVID...could not even go out for more than a few minutes in the summer...but that has improved. Dysautonomia from COVID can cause this.

I am taking LDN now which seems to be settling down some symptoms including providing pain relief. I still have food allergies but not as bad...and still have fatigue but I can now walk half a mile almost every day.

Vostie and Crowley ~I can’t explain this very well, but I’m on four daily doses of OTC antihistamines (Pepcid, Zyrtec and xyzal) and that seems to help my congestion and drippy nose. I’m also trying to follow a low histamine diet, which isn’t easy because some of the foods I eat regularly and consider healthy are NOT! Spinach, tomatoes, the cheeses you mentioned, bananas, etc, all apparently activate histamines in our system, whether or not we test as allergic to them. There is a lot of info about histamines and diet online. I think the drugs and cutting back on histamine-heavy foods is helping. But giving up spinach?! Hard! (I used to eat a lot of it…cause it is good for us, right?
