Not for general PN, I had 40 rounds of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for radiation induced branchial plexus neuropathy. I'm posting on this in case anyone else has a nerve-damage type neuropathy.
For me there was clear nerve damage on the MRI and in the nerve tests, but it had just started when my team got me in.
I did it through UCLA medical and it took two rounds to authorize for insurance - the damage I suffered is so rare, and often takes years to appear and be diagnosed and very little is proven to help.
Because we caught it so fast while I was still in active treatment for the cancer it did bring back almost all my strength to my arm, can hold a pen again, lift things, and numbness now localized mostly to pointer and thumb verses entire arm out of commission.
This was adjacent to many other treatments my radiologist had me on.
If you can locate a reason for the PN and it's just starting out, I would recommend trying for Hyperbaric.

Hi- I know this is from a long time ago but I am thinking about trying HBOT for neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome, which is mechanical or anatomical compression of nerves in the brachial plexus. My guess is that’s not the same as radiation-induced nerve damage, but do you think HBOT could help me? There is no evidence of damage on my MRIs and EMGs yet but I have a lot of pain and I’m starting to get weakness in my hands. I’m hesitant because it’s so expensive and there isn’t a ton of empirical evidence on HBOT efficacy for nerve pain..
