years ago i mentioned the HBOT to my naturopath, and altho she knows it is good for many things, she did say, IF i ever decide to try it , i think she said there was something that needed to first be checked out first. Years ago, i don't remember what it was, maybe, if i had High blood pressure, do not use, until my BP is under control, or maybe it was some out of range blood tests...........so if one uses it, make sure they check info on who should NOT use it, and see the guide lines you might first need to get your numbers under control......go on google and ask what is HBOT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and if it does not state all the info you are looking for , go back on google and ask who should NOT use HBOT, Don't forget, Dr.s who are giving any type of treatments, always tell you how you will like it..............you need to know what to expect for both pros and cons...........and that info you need before getting ANY type of treatment. Even on this forum, there are so many people who did surgeries, drugs, that their dr., told them to, and read their sad results..........so i am just saying always look at pros and cons, not just what someone tells you.................

Before I retired as an ER doc, my last job was working in a wound care clinic, where we had two HBOT chambers. As I recall, PN was not one of the indications for HBOT. If so, it would not be covered by insurance, and would be expensive. Also, I don't see how any reputable doctor would prescribe it.
