I tried the oxycodone when I was first diagnosed with cancer. I've been taking hydrocodone for severe back issues for 20 years. The oxycodone didn't do a thing for my pain so I told doctor I wanted to go back to hydrocodone and he added an ER 15mg morphine to take every 12 hours for the bone pain from these WBC booster shots and use the hydrocodone for breakthrough pain every 6 hours. I was taking the hydrocodone every 6 anyway. Can they try her on another pain med?

Tolerance matters. However, I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever complain that Oxycontin made pain worse and can't understand that unless she's having an issue with constipation from it. I wonder how they plan to take her off of her medicines? That's concerning me most of all.
