Simply, we used to live in a time of civility, empathy, concern, and accountability.
Now it's whatever you can get away with, take the money and run.
Not to be political because this goes for all sides, but maybe the Clinton years set a new tone for the country: wealth from deception with no consequences for criminality, just investigations. The Boy Scouts? The Church? 2008 crash too big to fail.
Don't take it personally, it's the (post modern) times we are living in. Let's continue being civil and caring.🙏

Exactly. Being civil, decent. Medicine has changed so much over the years. It's makes it more difficult in every aspect when there is little choice, in my situation. The providers I see mostly don't appreciate how long of a drive it takes to even see them. That's money, time and energy I feel is ill spent when providers don't invest a little time. Heaven forbid you ask a question or two, take more than five minutes.
