Has anyone taken Nextrellis?

After a second breast cancer, oncologist prescribed Nextrellis for menopausal symptoms. Contraindications are any history of blood clots. My mother had a history of blood clots, ultimately her cause of death was pulmonary embolus. I developed pulmonary emboli. Just wonder if any one out there has had similar experience

I haven’t tried birth control pills for this. My oncology doctor didn’t really have any advice for the awful hot flashes. I am sorry this happened to you, but are you well now? Are you done with this medicine?

I was not prescribed for birth control. Dr had a clinical trial in process at the time I was prescribed. I am the only one who had this experience. My family history is a contraindication for me to have that drug. My mother's cause of death and prior history was pulmonary emboli.
I will take blood thinner medication for the remainder of my life.
