Anyone experience nightmares on Zytiga (abiraterone)?

I have a question for the group, four days ago started taking 1000mg of Abiraterone, on the second day I had a horrible nightmare, last night another horrific nightmare so distressing that upon waking up in morning I cried thinking about I’m trying to decide if it’s the meds all something else going on I can’t stop the meds to figure out, if it’s the meds does it go way? Thank you as always

The moon is almost full , maybe that is the reason. It effects me BIG time. I do not even have to look at the sky - if I have a nightmare, the moon is full XP.

Yes, Zytiga (abiraterone) can potentially cause nightmares.
Nightmares are listed as a possible side effect of Zytiga, specifically under the category of effects with an "incidence not known". This means that while they have been reported, the frequency of their occurrence is not clearly established.

When I switched from abiraterone to a PARP inhibitor I had nightmares 5 days in a row, told my oncologist let’s switch to Darolutamide instead. I had not had nightmares since I was a kid, And they were never as vivid as those I was having with the PARP.

Thank you Jeff, so far I can deal with however disturbing since I can’t remember the last time I had one, if persists when I see my oncologist next month I bring that up, thank again Jeff
