The nerve ablation really did not do anything for me in either knee. I have had several rounds of steroid shots which did help for a while. I have since had OrthoVisc hyaluronic acid injections and Durolane. The drawback with OrthoVisc is it takes 3 injections one week apart, where Durolane is a one injection deal. OrthoVisc helped with my osteoarthritis fairly well for about 5 months. The Durolane has been in for about a month. I still have pain but not as bad. Its a crapshoot at best, but I am not interested in knee replacements. Something better will hopefully come along for all of us. Good luck in which ever way you go.
