I had HIFU in 2018 in Charlotte, NC. It was localized. Gleason 3+3, I think. No problems before and none after. PSA went from 4.5 to 0.5. It has inched back up to 1.5, which my uro doctor says is way low. I’m 77. Carolina Urology 704/660-3322 Dr. David Konstandt.

I HIFU in 2020 and like you PSA went down very low, but creeping back up. PSMA showed PC also spread to seminal vessel. Went to MDAnderson who said they didn’t do HIFU. They did transrectal biopsy without success. Said check psa in 6 months when it more than doubled. They then did transperinial biopsy (which Mayo I read does from beginning) which found Gleason of 9. I had Proton Radiation and Lupron. PSA staying around .03.
