I am glad to find this post. After a seeing a 4th neurologist, I was diagnosed with idiopathic SFN. I have this burning feeling all over my body. My hands and feet get cold in the evening. But the burning feeling is still there. While family and friends are sympathetic, they can’t relate. How do you cope? It is really frustrating.

Hello @ksista, Welcome to Connect. That is a great question that a lot of us have either asked or thought about - how do we cope? One thing that has helped me and I'm sure many others is to learn as much as you can about your condition, the symptoms and available treatments that may provide relief. It can be overwhelming and you really need to advocate for yourself. A good place to learn more is the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy. Here is a good starting point:
-- Living Well with Neuropathy: https://www.foundationforpn.org/living-well/

You are not alone with your symptoms and I think it helps to read what others have shared. Here is a search of Connect for "cold hands and feet" - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=cold+hands+and+feet. There are also quite a few comments on burning feeling all over the body - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=burning+feeling+all+over.

Has your neurologist suggested trying any treatments?
